BETTER INFORMATION LEADS TO BETTER DECISIONS! — Accurate growth and yield data is critical for AAC calculations and silvicultural planning. Developing yield curves and forest-level estimates of growth is a big part of our core business.

Silvacom has pioneered a comprehensive approach to growth and yield. Our G&Y program addresses:

  • Validation checks of AAC levels (generated from independent forest level data)
  • Calibration and continual improvements of current yield curves
  • Incorporation of regenerated and juvenile stand growth estimates into continuous yield models
