SILVACOM HAS EXPERIENCED, MULTIDISCIPLINARY STAFF

Silvacom’s staff includes a range of professionals, including professional foresters, forest technicians, engineers, GIS specialists, AVI photo-interpreters, communication specialists, web developers, programmers, systems analysts and database experts. We work across two modern industrial locations (campuses), equipped with a state-of-the-art computer network and Internet technology. Full computer security and data backup is provided by Iron Mountain® Ltd, a global records management company. We undertake field work in all seasons and weather conditions. Field programs are supported by a fleet of 4x4 trucks, quads and snowmobiles. Winterized ATCO well-site trailers provide accommodation in remote areas.

SILVACOM ONLINE

Silvacom Online is a suite of web-based applications for our industrial and government clients. Applications include Oracle® database and GIS tools for data editing, viewing and reporting via the Internet, with the ability to generate maps online, as well as manage planning and compliance activities. Silvacom uses Shaw Business Solution’s Fibre Optic technology to provide ultra-fast throughput for Online Services.
